Stonebrook is one of the more sought-after subdivisions in Idaho Falls. Stonebrook was developed and built from the late 1980’s to about 2000 as the choice neighborhood in the City of it’s time.
Location
Stonebrook is located in the Sunnyside Corridor with three entrances off the South side of Sunnyside Road, the main entrance directly across from South Boulevard at the light. The neighborhood enjoys all city services and resides within the Idaho Falls School District 91 and the popular Sunnyside Elementary school boundaries.
Features
Because the neighborhood is well-established, Stonebrook homes enjoy mature landscaping that newly built areas lack, while still being new enough itself. Many of the streets meander through the neighborhood, minimizing the grid-style street structure of other areas. The entry streets feature Ash trees down the parkways, guiding you into the neighborhood and providing a stunning gold backdrop in the fall.

Homes
Stonebrook features a range of home styles, though many reflect a more formal two-story floorplan with a few large ramblers filled in. Most homes within the subdivision feature a fully finished basement as additional living space. Heating is a mix of natural gas forced-air and electric heat (largely those built in the 90’s). However, because it lies within the City limits, residents enjoy the lower electric rates the city offers due to hydroelectric power generation.
